Aalto Design & Build was started by Peter Stevens. His passion and enthusiasm for providing high quality workmanship, customer service and attention to detail has seen Aalto Design & Build grow from its humble beginnings over 35 years ago.
Focusing on customer service from day one has seen Aalto develop into a design and build construction company with a reputation for delivering complex building projects across South London and Surrey.
Our core work is loft and house extensions, renovations and refurbishments, we also undertake general building work.
All work is done to the same high quality expected of a one stop shop where Aalto will manage the entire process from end to end.

Bathroom/ Kitchen design and fitting - Adding an extra bathroom or refitting your kitchen can boost the value and saleability of your property. LOFT CONVERSIONS
Loft conversions - A loft conversion is one of the best ways to add additional living space and transform your home, whether it will be used as a bedroom, study, bathroom or playroom. Most properties can accommodate 2 and sometimes 3 rooms and an
en-suite under Permitted Development rights. We offer a bespoke solution that will best suit your needs and budget. Our experience with local authorities and conversion planning regulations means you can be assured of a hassle-free loft conversion that works in harmony with the characteristics of your property and your personal tastes.
RENOVATIONS
Full House Renovations - With renovations - where necessary we will go back to brick and strip out all old ceilings, plumbing and electrics. Our team of skilled tradesmen will then recreate the entire space from top to bottom, including all new plumbing, electrical work, plastering, windows, stairs, ceilings kitchens
and bathrooms.

SIDE RETURNS
Extensions and Side returns - We can provide any type of extension you desire from single storey rear and side, to large scale two storey. A sound knowledge of local planning departments, allied with a creative vision, enables us to produce dynamic and functional spaces that blur the boundaries between inside and out, and old and new.
PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURAL
Planning permission -We can help you with the surveys, drawings and planning permission you require for loft extensions, rear/side extensions or any other architectural alterations to your home.
